    After The Fire

    Saturday
    April 01, 2006
    Hank's Grill
    McKinney, Texas

This was our first gig back at Hank's after a small fire had claimed part of their kitchen. I didn't have time to eat much before the show but did have about a minute to sneak a bite from my gal's turkey sandwich. I guess that it was pretty tasty for food constructed in the new make-shift kitchen in the back room where I had spent the last gig fighting with my guitar for various reasons, but then again I guess it's pretty hard to fuck-up a turkey sandwich...

It was great to be back though and especially with this new warmer weather. The last time we went it was bone chillingly cold outside, and the new spring weather was definately welcome (mostly when it comes to loading and unloading the gear.)
