Well, the gig went as smooth as possible, as it's always a difficult thing for a last minute substitution on any instrument. My old friend John Pittman sat in with us again tonight and became the second cross-over instrumentalist in Michael’s band. First, Brock had gone from guitar to the bass. Second, it was John who had sat in with us numerous times on the electric guitar and lap steel, and now finally to playing the drums. A million thanks to he and his family as he was able to just drop his plans, hop in the van, and go with only 4 hours notice before show time. The guy’s fearless.
